Pakistan's experienced all-rounder Imad Wasim spoke about the injustice done to him during the previous set-up of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Imad was dropped from the national side after T20 World Cup 2021 and made comeback in the team for the Afghanistan T20I series this year in March on the basis of his Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8 performance.

During his interview on Geo News' program Score, Imad said he put his case in Allah's court and believed that he will return to the national side very soon.

"I will not sit here and bash them because then, there will be no difference," said Imad. "I put my case in Allah's court. I trusted my abilities and believed that the world knows about my performance. They [selectors] never told the reason behind keeping me away from the national team for last one and a half year,

"But now, I won’t let this happen again. My actions will be more important this time around. I am at that stage of my career that I have to take a step if they drop me without any reason again," he added.

The all-rounder, who captained Karachi Kings in PSL 8, shined during the tournament despite his team's poor performance in the league. He scored 404 runs and took nine wickets in as many matches.

While playing against Afghanistan in three-match T20I series, Imad scored the highest 64 runs including 64 runs not-out.
